There is time for you
to reflect, recharge and re-emerge.
Sacred Rascals is a four-day retreat for 12 women.
It’s for opening up to the profound and the ridiculous of our lives.
For receiving the gift of being completely taken care of.
For allowing all of you to show up, including your shadowy bits, in order to claim
the spectacular lightness of your being.
There will be divine awakenings, belly laughs and fire-based ceremony
You’ll leave knowing in your bones what you want from the next chapter of your adventure.
Because you don’t have to dream bigger, want more, want everything.
You don’t have to want anything.
You don’t have to hanker for a life outside of the commute, the cubicle and the communal kitchen.
You don’t have to stay at a job that gnaws at your soul.
You don’t have to juice every day. Or be a fruitarian, or eat three meals a day.
You don’t have to give up coffee.
You don’t have to love yoga. Or running. Or Crossfit.
You don’t have to believe anyone who says anything about your body. Ever.
You don’t have to believe in God. Or the power of tarot, crystals, angels, spirit animals or signs from the universe.
You don’t need a mediator to commune with the divine.
You do not have to ask for permission. You don’t have to get it right.
You don’t have to finish. Or feel like you can’t change your mind.
You don’t have to have to go through months of therapy to make life-changing decisions…
…but the one thing you must do is pay attention.
To your yearnings. Your restlessness. Your WTF is going on with my life?!
This is the necessary raw material for uncovering who you really are, and what you really want.
You have everything you need inside you.
Spend a few days with your Sacred Rascally self
and let it burst into life.
You’ll be welcomed at the house on Thursday afternoon. There will be plenty of time to wander around the gardens, put on your comfy pants and settle in before our welcome supper and opening ceremony.
On Friday and Saturday we’ll have a programme of workshops, with loads of free time for relaxation, exploration, contemplation and conversation. Also on offer: massages and naps. Seriously.
On Saturday evening we’ll enjoy a celebratory supper together before the closing ceremony.
After a luxurious lie-in and brunch, we’ll say our goodbyes on Sunday morning.
Our retreat house is a stunning Regency manor nestled in twenty acres of private countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
There are squishy sofas and open fires in the reception room and library, the farmhouse kitchen contains a warming Aga and a Wurlitzer jukebox; the chandelier-lit dining room is straight out of a Jane Austen novel.
In the extensive grounds you’ll find beautiful gardens, woodland, contemplation ponds (for pondering) – and an old stone labyrinth.
Kingscote is the perfect place to step away from life for a few days.
You’ll be nourished from your toes, up.
Jo, our in-house Chef is going to blow your mind with healthy, locally sourced, organic food: think comforting, warming, soul food – perfect for chilly Autumnal days.
There will be hot drinks and healthy snacks available all day, as well as sweet treats. Scones ahoy!
With all of your needs taken care of, you’ll be free to dive into the deep and important work.
You are going to be so well rested you won’t recognise yourself!
Big cozy beds, thick duvets and crisp white sheets – the rooms are warm and quiet – all have garden views, reading chairs and many pillows.
You have a choice of rooms including the Gatehouse Cottage located next to the main house (complete with a spa bath, King-size bed and vaulted ceiling).
There’s a four-poster King-size room, four Deluxe Queen rooms, one gorgeous Double and two Twin rooms in the Attic eaves (each has two single beds – perfect for friends retreating together).
There are three bathrooms in the house, two with large roll-top baths.
Your Retreat Hosts
I’m Sas Petherick. I’m a coach, mentor, teacher and writer. My heartfelt intention is to provide you with everything you need to spark new connections – within yourself about who you really are, and with your fellow housemates during those ‘me too!’ moments.
People say my retreats have been the birthplace of deep and abiding change in their lives. I can’t wait to see what happens for you.
Tamsyn Hawkins is co-leading Sacred Rascals with me – I just know you are going to love her! T is smart, down to earth and hilarious. She is also a Leadership Coach & Consultant who champions people to bring their whole selves to the table: in work and life.
Tamsyn owns The Alchemy Kitchen, a virtual kitchen table where everyone gets a whole pie (or a pasty if, like T, you’re Cornish).
Shauna Reid is Director of Ship-shapery at Sacred Rascals and will be on-hand to ensure everyone has what they need. Shauna is my aces right-hand woman!
Originally from Aussie, a talented, funny writer and brilliant community leader, Shauna co-founded the thriving online business Up & Running and grew her personal blog from awkward silence to a book deal with Random House.
Joanna Bourke is our resident chef! Jo is a Dublin-based Life Coach and trained cook whose happy place is in the kitchen. She loves to cook wholesome, delicious, comfort food using seasonal produce.
Jo is going to be working her magic (JoFlow) in our sunny kitchen, making sure our entire retreat menu is nourishing, pleasurable and loves every body right back.

Questions you might have…
What happens after I pay my deposit - can I pay in installments?
What happens if I can’t come or change my mind?
How do I get to the Retreat?
What if I have food allergies, sensitivities or preferences?
Umm... what should I wear?
Whatever helps you relax! We’ll be in the countryside and won’t be going ‘off-compound’. Jeans, yoga pants, tracky-dacks (as Shauna calls them) are perfect. Bring a raincoat (and perhaps gumboots) for wandering the grounds.
We will be centrally heated and fires will be blazing, however, the house is a few hundred years old. We suggest you bring warm clothes to be super comfortable.
The cup of tea on arrival at a country house is a thing which, as a rule, I particularly enjoy. I like the crackling logs, the shaded lights, the scent of buttered toast, the general atmosphere of leisured cosiness.

If reading this invitation feels to you like a full body YES! then nothing would make us happier than to host you at Sacred Rascals.
However, if you feel any twinge of resentment, a fear of missing out, a sense of scarcity, or that any hesitation you have is just an excuse to ‘play small’ in your life, I invite you to free yourself of this untruthiest of truths.
You absolutely do not need to have this kind of experience, to choose to show up differently in your life.
With deep respect,
Sas and the Sacred Rascals team xx
