There is time for you
to reflect, recharge and re-emerge.
Sacred Rascals is a four-day retreat for 12 women.
It’s for opening up to the profound and the ridiculous of our lives.
For receiving the gift of being completely taken care of.
For allowing all of you to show up, including your shadowy bits, in order to claim
the spectacular lightness of your being.
There will be divine awakenings, belly laughs and fire-based ceremony
You’ll leave knowing in your bones what you want from the next chapter of your adventure.
Because you don’t have to dream bigger, want more, want everything.
You don’t have to want anything.
You don’t have to hanker for a life outside of the commute, the cubicle and the communal kitchen.
You don’t have to stay at a job that gnaws at your soul.
You don’t have to juice every day. Or be a fruitarian, or eat three meals a day.
You don’t have to give up coffee.
You don’t have to love yoga. Or running. Or Crossfit.
You don’t have to believe anyone who says anything about your body. Ever.
You don’t have to believe in God. Or the power of tarot, crystals, angels, spirit animals or signs from the universe.
You don’t need a mediator to commune with the divine.
You do not have to ask for permission. You don’t have to get it right.
You don’t have to finish. Or feel like you can’t change your mind.
You don’t have to have to go through months of therapy to make life-changing decisions…
…but the one thing you must do is pay attention.
To your yearnings. Your restlessness. Your WTF is going on with my life?!
This is the necessary raw material for uncovering who you really are, and what you really want.
You have everything you need inside you.
Spend a few days with your Sacred Rascally self
and let it burst into life.
I’m going home with unstoppable, sober clarity. I’m feeling fully charged and I now know how to recharge. Go to this retreat if you are ready to step into the full expression of your luminous authentic self. You will weep, you will laugh from your belly, you will be held so tenderly and fiercely by a woman who is unafraid of asking you the difficult questions and walking with you as the answers appear. Sacred Rascals was an irreplaceable paradigm explosion!Dr Mary Lummis
You don’t need a reason to attend Sacred Rascals, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a reason not to. It’s about sisterhood, deep wisdom, clarity and profound joy. I’m leaving with a deeper sense of ownership of my own path, and my power.Inger Dybvig Kenobi
I said yes to Sacred Rascals because after making many excuses in my head, I listened to my heart. It was beautiful, wholesome, affirming: perfect for me! I left my people pleasing ways at the Retreat and I’m taking home trust in my intuition. I am feeling much more joyous, fully me and a bit invincible!Shona Macpherson
You’ll be welcomed at the house on Thursday afternoon. There will be plenty of time to wander around the gardens, put on your comfy pants and settle in before our welcome supper and opening ceremony.
On Friday and Saturday we’ll have a programme of workshops, with loads of free time for relaxation, exploration, contemplation and conversation. Also on offer: massages and naps. Seriously.
On Saturday evening we’ll enjoy a celebratory supper together before the closing ceremony.
After a luxurious lie-in and brunch, we’ll say our goodbyes on Sunday morning.
Our retreat house is a stunning Regency manor nestled in twenty acres of private countryside, on the edge of the Cotswolds.
There are squishy sofas and open fires in the reception room and library, the farmhouse kitchen contains a warming Aga and a Wurlitzer jukebox; the chandelier-lit dining room is straight out of a Jane Austen novel.
In the extensive grounds you’ll find beautiful gardens, woodland, contemplation ponds (for pondering) – and an old stone labyrinth.
Kingscote is the perfect place to step away from life for a few days.
You’ll be nourished from your toes, up.
Jo, our in-house Chef is going to blow your mind with healthy, locally sourced, organic food: think comforting, warming, soul food – perfect for chilly Autumnal days.
There will be hot drinks and healthy snacks available all day, as well as sweet treats. Scones ahoy!
With all of your needs taken care of, you’ll be free to dive into the deep and important work.
You are going to be so well rested you won’t recognise yourself!
Big cozy beds, thick duvets and crisp white sheets – the rooms are warm and quiet – all have garden views, reading chairs and many pillows.
You have a choice of rooms including the Gatehouse Cottage located next to the main house (complete with a spa bath, King-size bed and vaulted ceiling).
There’s a four-poster King-size room, four Deluxe Queen rooms, one gorgeous Double and two Twin rooms in the Attic eaves (each has two single beds – perfect for friends retreating together).
There are three bathrooms in the house, two with large roll-top baths.

I said yes to Sacred Rascals because I wanted some time for me. And I wanted to leave some of the rubbish I tell myself behind. It was transformative for me to realise in our first workshop, that despite all the crap I tell myself, I’ve done bloody well and I’m so much more than I thought. I’m feeling recharged and I have such a renewed zest for life. Fuck yeah!Nicola Dent
Coming into this, I wasn’t sure if I deserved this kind of investment in tin and money in myself. I’m leaving knowing I absolutely DO! This experience was vulnerable but so safe; like teasing my eyes open to a whole new view of the world and myself. And I know this is just the beginning. It was magical, powerful and so, so real. Sas and the team are completely safe hands to trust yourself into.Sue Fontaine
I had a gut feeling that Sacred Rascals was right for me, and it was life-changing. It was incredible to feel so completely supported by the circle, and I felt safe to face my deepest fears. I’m feeling so much more at peace with myself. I’m stronger than I think.Karen Cahill
After a serious mental health diagnosis a few months ago, I needed some time and space away from my regular life to rediscover my sense of self and independence of spirit. The conversations around the table and the fires were magical. When I explored my shadow self, I discovered that one big strand of what I fear is exactly what I want the most; I had never seen this before. I’m going home feeling quietly confident in my strength and abilities. The whole experience was life changing – just so many good things!Dr Rae Ritchie

How do I get to the Retreat?
Our Retreat House is in The Cotswolds in England. This is around two hours from London by car. Trains run directly from Paddington to a local village station (Kemble) a few miles away. We’ll arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off. We’ll give you all the details when you sign up.
What if I have food allergies, sensitivities or preferences?
We will do our very best to accommodate your needs so you feel nourished throughout the retreat with delicious food that loves you back. After you sign up, you’ll be directed to a quick questionnaire to tell us what you need.
Umm... what should I wear?
Whatever helps you relax! We’ll be in the countryside and won’t be going ‘off-compound’. Jeans, yoga pants, tracky-dacks (as Shauna calls them) are perfect. Bring a raincoat (and perhaps gumboots) for wandering the grounds.
We will be centrally heated and fires will be blazing, however, the house is a few hundred years old. We suggest you bring warm clothes to be super comfortable.
The cup of tea on arrival at a country house is a thing which, as a rule, I particularly enjoy. I like the crackling logs, the shaded lights, the scent of buttered toast, the general atmosphere of leisured cosiness.
~ P.G. Wodehouse
Go with an open heart and mind and you will experience a magical connection both to your deeper, higher self, and to others.Caroline Brewer
Sacred Rascal’s was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. The gentle, yet powerful processes, ably facilitated by Sas and Tamsyn lead me safely and lovingly, into my shadow and then into the light. Jo’s food was nourishing to heart, soul and body! Everyone was so kind and compassionate and ready to be there for each other. I feel so very blessed and grateful for this experience.Heather Veitch
If reading this invitation feels to you like a full body YES! then nothing would make us happier than to host you at Sacred Rascals.
However, if you feel any twinge of resentment, a fear of missing out, a sense of scarcity, or that any hesitation you have is just an excuse to ‘play small’ in your life, I invite you to free yourself of this untruthiest of truths.
You absolutely do not need to have this kind of experience, to choose to show up differently in your life.
With deep respect,
Sas and the Sacred Rascals team xx
